Board & Train in San Marcos, CA
Board and Train programs provide an immersive training experience designed to create meaningful progress through consistency, structure, and professional guidance. During their stay, your dog lives in a private home environment and receives individualized one-on-one training with professional trainer Noelle Farr. Unlike larger, high-volume facilities, a limited number of dogs are accepted at a time, allowing for a more personalized experience and training plan tailored to your dog's unique needs and goals.
Programs range from 2-5 weeks depending on your training objectives. Shorter programs are ideal for addressing one or two specific training areas, while longer programs allow for greater reliability, advanced obedience, distraction proofing, reactivity work, and e-collar conditioning when appropriate.
In addition to daily training, dogs receive structured exercise, enrichment, play, and real-world exposure. When appropriate, carefully selected dogs may also participate in supervised dog-to-dog social time. Training takes place in both home and public environments to help create behaviors that hold up beyond the training session.
Throughout the program, owners receive regular updates, hands-on transfer sessions, and continued support to help maintain their dog's progress long after returning home. At the completion of each option, owners are taught an in-depth lesson where you get to practice all your dog's new-found skills.
