Do you wonder if your dog would come back to you if off-leash in a new environment? Worried they might chase a squirrel across a busy road and blow off your recall? Looking to provide them more off-leash freedom, while giving yourself ease of mind?

Join me in a small group setting in this 6-8 week in-depth training, where we will cover all the bases of e-collar conditioning from start to finish, with a focus on recall. I will be giving a detailed overview of e-collars and how we use this low-level tactile communication in a way your dog will build a positive, upbeat response to.

At the end of this course, your dog will be able to happily recall to you from a distance and in a public setting.

This tool, like any, has many fearing it as some people just slap it on their dogs without understanding it, or knowing how to positively condition it. They also assume the intention is to inflict pain, when that absolutely is not the case when used properly.

The process I take each dog and their owners through is by providing a clear understanding of the tool, proper use, addressing any concerns, and using LOW level tactile stimulation and positive reinforcement to allow dogs to build a positive association with this potentially life-saving tool.

Please join me and a small group of 4 maximum participants every Sunday at 3:00 PM, beginning October 6th through November 10th, potentially through November 24th if additional days are needed.

The size of this group will allow for 1:1 private coaching time and a close-knit group of like-minded individuals and their four-legged students.

This class includes a Mini-Educator, worth of $200! These collars are the best in the industry as they have levels from 0-100, meaning each level is only minutely increased, as opposed to cheaper collars that jump in strength each time it is raised. These e-collars are backed by countless trainers as their efficacy and fairness are unparallel in providing the happiest freedom to your pup.

This e-collar training will cover:

· Background, benefits and uses

· Testing and practicing ourselves to clear up misconceptions and fears

· Understanding importance of energy

· Fitting

· Finding working level (as low as the dog can possibly feel it)

· Conditioning

· Teaching handler and dog recall

· Understanding e-collar integration for various behaviors

· Building fluency in “off-leash” recall (e-collars are like Bluetooth leashes!)

· Proofing “off-leash” recall

· Generalizing “off-leash recall

Because of how important it is to teach proper use of this tool to our amazing dogs, we will be covering some of the fundamental basics before directly working with the e-collars. 

This information will cover:

· Importance of energy

· Basic dog body language

· Understanding you and your dog’s state of mind during training

· Building engagement with YOU

· Importance of clear communication

· Teaching recall

· Making recall fun

· What is directional guidance?

· How to be a fun owner while establishing clear boundaries

· Understanding boundaries; how they allow our dogs to feel safe

When: 3:00 Sundays October 6th -November 10th(potentially Nov 17th/24th if needed)

Where: San Marcos, California and nearby areas, exact location dependent upon group needs. Likely Walnut Grove Park and Aligned K9/Noelle’s home training location

Who: Maximum of 4 participants and their dogs.

Requirements: A dog 6 months of age or older, a leash and focus/dedication-there will be homework to practice! **Results depend on your willingness to participate, ask questions, and implement training homework. Homework time requirements will vary depending on dog and handler, but generally 30 minutes daily throughout the week.
